Zinc Ingot
Zinc Ingot
The Lone Wolf Metals & Trading Company specializes in supplying high-purity Zinc Ingot. Zinc metal has a grayish shiny appearance, is odorless, and is practically insoluble in water at ambient conditions. It is brittle at ordinary temperatures and is naturally occurring substance found in rocks, animals, plants, soil, and volcanic dust/gases. It produces toxic Zinc Oxide fumes when heated to very high temperatures or undergoes ignition. Sphalerite, a sulfide derivative of Zinc is its principal ore. High-purity Zinc Ingot is used for general applications, but chiefly as a reducing agent , as a pigment in corrosion-resistant coatings for iron and steel, and in sheradizing. High-purity Zinc substances are often used in the processing of non-ferrous metals such as zinc, gold, silver, indium, platinum, and other metals used in reduction and substitution reactions, and in the removal of impurities.
Applications for High-Purity Zinc Ingot
- Aircraft construction
- Dry cell batteries
- Extraction and production of precious metals
- Production of chemical dyes, polymers, and lubricants
